Weโre excited to share a first look at a new add-on in our simulation ecosystem: TCAS for VR-Forces.
This upcoming module embeds our proven TCAS II (RTCA DO-185B) simulation directly into MAK Technologiesโ VR-Forces, giving VR-Forces aircraft the ability to detect each other through Mode S presence and respond to Traffic Alerts and Resolution Advisories with realistic, standards-based behaviour.

Modern airspace training demands more than basic deconfliction logic. With TCAS for VR-Forces, users can:
๐นย Inject true airspace risk into tactical and training scenarios
๐นย Exercise pilot and controller responses to coordinated Traffic Advisories and Resolution Advisories
๐นย Train with mixed systems โ VR-Forces native entities and external flight simulators operating together
๐นย Improve realism in congested airspace, RPAS integration, formation operations, and multi-ship missions
๐นย Strengthen safety training using behaviour aligned with how certified systems work in the real world
This is a big step toward making simulated airspace behave like actual airspace.
Weโll be demonstrating an early preview at I/ITSEC 2025 in Orlando next week. If youโre attending, drop by the MAK Technologies booth (1121) to see it in action. More details โ and a deeper dive into the technical underpinnings โ coming soon.
