TDL for VR-Forces 2.2 is now available!

We’ve pushed this release hard to get more capability into the hands of operators, engineers, and integrators who depend on high-fidelity TDL behaviour inside VR-Forces. Version 2.2 delivers new creation tools, smarter C2 insights, richer symbology, and a set of features that meaningfully raise the ceiling on what you can simulate.

🌟What’s new in 2.2:
🔹 J3.4 Subsurface Tracks, Enhanced J3.7 EW Bearings, J12.1 Vectors, J12.3 Flight Paths
🔹 A new Control Log with export tools—giving visibility into C2 and non-C2 interactions
🔹 Track Production Area visualization in the TDL Laydown Summary
🔹 Multiple independent TDL Message Viewer instances
🔹 Target Report prioritization + Max Target Report controls for air/land/surface
🔹 Surveillance-track generation for detected munitions
🔹 Ability to slave tracks (air or subsurface) to munitions
🔹 On/off toggles for sensor breadcrumb trails
🔹 A more powerful and flexible TDL symbology system built for the future

And this is just the start. A VR-Forces 5.2 build is coming shortly, and several more CogSim product releases are queued up behind this one. Expect a steady ramp-up of announcements over the next few weeks.

When paired with our TDL Gateway software, supporting SISO-J, SIMPLE, and JREAP-C standards, TDL for VR-Forces provides an effective, affordable, and accessible solution for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) connectivity, ensuring a comprehensive and integrated training environment.

Teaser: we’re also preparing a deep-dive on upcoming support for Link 16 Network Enabled Weapons (NEW)—a major capability upgrade that deserves its own spotlight. That post is coming soon.

If you want a hands-on look at what 2.2 can do, we’ll be running live demos at I/ITSEC in the MAK Technologies booth (1121). Drop by and see what we’re building.
